Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Lee—mom of three and your guide through the digital safety maze.
My journey started when my 7-year-old stumbled across explicit content online. That moment changed everything. Then last year, I discovered middle schoolers at my son’s school were using proxies and USB-loaded VPNs to bypass restrictions—tools I didn’t even know existed.
With my technical training (BS, MS from Georgia Tech), I thought I’d have this figured out. But even with my background, creating a comprehensive digital safety plan for my family took countless hours of research and constant updates. If it was this hard for me, I knew other parents were struggling too.
Every mom I talk to knows it’s an issue and wants to do better, but who has 20+ hours to research parental controls and stay current with the latest workarounds? That’s why I created Safe Screens—to give families the expertise and solutions they need without the overwhelming time investment.
I bring both technical know-how and a parent’s perspective to every consultation. I’ve been in the trenches with AI, software systems, and the latest tech trends, but more importantly, I understand the real challenges of raising kids in a digital world.
